The Astoria SAE 3 is a three group automatic espresso/cappuccino machine engineered for both ease of use and upkeep. Recognized worldwide for its reliability and performance, this Astoria machine is available in: Winchester Gray, Sponged Multicolor, Rose, Stainless Steel and Copper, or Copper and Brass. A microprocessor controls operation, providing a volumetric measure of water for coffee brewing. The touch pad control can program 4 different coffee dosages, selecting them automatically and independently for each group. There is also a push button control for semiautomatic brewing.
Machine is brand new and ships directly from manufacturer's warehouse within 7-10 days of purchase. Installation by a qualified technician is recommended to help ensure the manufacturer's warranty remains valid. Requires the following prior to installation: 1) 220 VAC single phase power source (24 Amp minimum available). Machine does not come with a plug, but has a 6 foot long power cord to be connected at power source by installer. 2) Nearby 3/8" water connection with male compression fitting and shut-off valve. 3) Water drain. Drain should be adequate distance below machine to allow sufficient slope of drain tubing to prevent clogging. 4) Adequate countertop space. Typical installation is with plumbing connections below the machine through hole(s) in the counter-top. 5) Location for small water softener (included with purchase and usually installed below counter-top).
